Vegetables…summer time

Published by taminate at 9:48 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

YEAH!! It is summer time which means time to get to the farmer’s market or local stand for veggies. I personally have never had any trouble getting my kids to eat vegetables. My two year old LOVES veggies and fruits and would chose them over junk any day. My nine month old (almost 10 months!!) loves her veggies too. I do have a problem with,…ME…i hate most veggies. I do not know how to make myself eat them. It is nice right now, because I can pick out my carrots and feed them to the baby, but what about when they are too big to eat off of mommy’s plate. I LOVE fresh green beans, I actually just bought a HUGE like 20lb box of them for $2.00- no kidding, they are needing to be eaten/frozen/canned right away and they needed to get rid of them so I got them super cheap *thank you so much*. Back to the adult veggie problem… It is really a problem, I hate most cooked veggies. I like squash *(after YEARS of gaging) but it has to have butter and brown sugar which in turn makes it NOT HEALTHY. I want to get fit and eat right, but how do I learn to LIKE veggies?
